The exterior of this true Alaska-styled log home starts with the massive round 2 foot diameter Nenana White Spruce timbers.The stunningly beautiful logs have wedge cut ends and are smoothly peeled and sealed from the elements with Behr Rawhide.These giants of nature are a rare site in the interior of Alaska.
The log beams cut through the exterior walls and extend the roof line out past a large deck that looks out onto the spacious lawn and airstrip.A carved wood door off the deck and a side door with a porch provide entry into the house. The house has a Sherwood green metal roof.

A large parking area leads to an extended 36’x36’ two car garage with stained and sealed wood siding, roll up doors, a metal roof, two man doors and a shop area.Garage is 2x6 construction on a concrete foundation with an fuel efficient oil fired Monitor stove.Next to the garage sits a tall pole barn enclosed on three sides, perfect for RV parking or boat, atv and snowmachine storage.
Guest House & Garage
A log guest cabin with a garage and pole barn are located near the northwest corner of the airstrip, across from the hangar. A private gravel driveway leads to the 680 square foot cabin. The cabin is 24' x 20' with a 10' addition and is comprised of 10" 3 sided logs.
The open studio style floor plan with 1 bathroom, has a large picture window with views of the airstrip and mountains, cathedral ceilings, slant tongue and groove paneling, linoleum tiles and a laundry/utility room. The cabin has a metal roof, satellite dish, oil fired Monitor and wood stoves, water, electric and a treated wood deck.
The guest cabin also has a 24' x 19' garage, and a 30' x 12' x 12' pole barn. The garage has barn style doors with black iron hinges and a metal roof. The pole barn has a metal roof and metal siding.
