Airstrip
The 100’ x 1400’ airstrip provides for wheel landing in summer time and ski or wheel (with packed snow) landings in winter. The airstrip is grassed and graveled and is crowned to facilitate drainage away from the centerline to low areas along the edge. The airstrip can be easily extended another 400 feet.
In addition to airstrip landings, the TananaRiver and Blue Creek offer opportunities to land on floats during the ice free months.During the summer months when Blue Creek water is high, its quiet deep waters are much like a lake and offer easy float landings and the ability to tie up right in front of the house.
